How to register WinRAR on your computer

1. Xem file đính kèm và tải xuống rarkey.rar (file này sẽ chứa license key của bạn)

2. Nhấp đôi chuột vào icon lưu trữ : Winrar sẽ tự động đăng ký và bạn sẽ nhận được tin nhắn: Thank you for support

3. Để kiểm tra đăng ký thành công, ở Winrar forlder (Bấm vào Start –> All programs –>WinRAR. Bản đăng ký của bạn sẽ được hiển thị trong “Help” ->”About WinRAR”
Your WinRAR registration code is contained within the key file RARREG.RAR that will be attached to your email from us.

If you have not already done so, you do need to download and install the latest version of WinRAR from here to install your copy of WinRAR. For other operating systems you do need to download their corresponding version of RAR from here.

To manually extract and install your WinRAR keyfile for Windows 8, 7 and Vista 32 bit*:
Note: This method is out of date so is NOT recommended!

• If the “Please purchase …” window appears then close it.To check your registration is OK, open WinRAR (Start, All Programs, WinRAR) and click on the Help button (near the top of the WinRAR window), select About WinRAR … and your AV code should appear under “Registered to”.
• Right click on RARREG.KEY and from the WinRAR menu select: Extract to the Specified Folder.
• In its right hand panel double click on Desktop to highlight it and click OK. Nothing will change but your RARREG.KEY has now been extracted and copied to your Desktop.
• Now close the WinRAR window.
• Next hold down the Windows key (between the Ctrl and Alt keys on the left of most keyboards) and press “E” to open Windows Explorer (it will show “Computer” in the Address bar of the Explorer window). If the word Folders appears in the bottom of the left panel then click to expand it.
• On that left panel double click on Local Disk (C:), click on the triangle to the left of /Program Files (or /Program Files (x86)/ for the 32-bit version)  to show the subfolders below it.
• Now click on Desktop (near the top of the left panel). In the right panel you should be able to see an icon or file named rarreg.key (or maybe just rareg) that you just extracted to the Desktop.
• On the left panel move it’s slider bar down until you can see the WinRAR folder.
• Now click and select that rarreg.key file from the right hand (Desktop) folder and move it across to the WinRAR folder. If a security window opens asking for permission, click Continue twice and it is done.
• (Note: If you mistakenly double click RARREG.KEY it will give you an error message as it tries to copy it to the Windows Registry – just cancel the message and right click on it).
• Congratulations! Your copy of WinRAR on that computer is now registered, as your RARREG.KEY file is in your /Program Files/WinRAR folder.
• To check your registration is OK, open WinRAR (Start, All Programs, WinRAR) and click on the Help button (near the top of the WinRAR window), select About WinRAR … and your AV code should appear under “Registered to”. * Sorry about these extra steps, but Windows 7 and Vista security will not allow us to extract files directly into the Program Files folder!

To manually extract and install your WinRAR keyfile for Windows XP (and earlier):

• First you double click on the RARREG.RAR attachment to this email, WinRAR will start up and you will see that RARREG.RAR contains your RARREG.KEY file.

• Right click on RARREG.KEY and from the WinRAR menu select: Extract to the Specified Folder.

• In the right hand panel double click on C: then on the + to the left of Program Files and move the slider bar down until you can see the WinRAR folder.

• Double click on your WinRAR folder and RARREG.KEY will then be extracted and copied to your WinRAR directory.

• Finally close the WinRAR window.

• Congratulations! Your copy of WinRAR on that computer is now registered, as your RARREG.KEY file is in your /Program Files/WinRAR folder.

• To check your registration is OK, open WinRAR (Start, All Programs, WinRAR) and click on the Help button (near the top of the WinRAR window), select About WinRAR … and your AV code should appear under “Registered to”.

Installing and using RAR on a Mac:

• The RAR Compression / Archive File Utility for Mac OS X is a command line interface only, it does not have a graphical interface (GUI).
• To install RAR, you need to download the latest version of RAR OS X from here then transfer the “rar” and “unrar” files to your /bin folder.
• You can then type “RAR ” from any directory.
• For example, in order to compress/archive files or folders, use “RAR”…, to extract them, use “UnRAR” …
• So you would use this syntax:

To extract your RAR keyfile for Mac OS X:

• Copy your key file into your /bin folder.
• To check your registration is OK, start RAR with no commands, your AV code should appear immediately below the RAR version and copyright notice.

To extract your RAR keyfile for other operating systems:

• Copy your key file into your home folder, for examplr /root/ or /home/user, or to your RAR folder.
• To check your registration is OK, start RAR with no commands, your AV code should appear immediately below the RAR version and copyright notice.
